Recently at startup I have been showing two windows. One says" Please wait while Windows configures Norton 2006" the other states "Norton Antivirus does not support the Repair feature please uninstall and reinstall.

I recently installed a game called cyber chaos for my grand daughter to use. However I removed the game when I encountered the above problem.

Also I tried to use System restore three times and I keep getting a message "Your computer cannot be restored to Wed, July 26th System checkpoint.

I also did an online check of my Norton Security 2006 and everything appears to be normal and I performed a full system scan of my Norton Security.

Can anyone advise me of what the next step should be to correct this situation.?
