Hi!

I am currently using Centera SDK 3.2P5 for Windows (32Bit).

In the ManageRetention-example, an existing clip is opened,
and the call to FPClip_SetRetentionPeriod() is followed by FPClip_Write(),
creating a new C-Clip on the cluster.

This duplicates the data content on Centera, right?
The old clip is deleted afterwards.

Is this the recommended way to set retention, i.e. is it necessary

to call FPClip_Write() after the retention period has been set, or

can  FPClip_Write() be omitted, so the data is not duplicated?
