DPMstDscDisable keeps resetting to value 2 even after manually setting it to 0

Hello,

We got a laptop that's running two ultrawide screens via a WD25 docking on 3440x1440 resolution. This works fine so long as Display Stream Compression is enabled which we did following instructions from Dell. However for some unknown reason the registry DWord we changed to achieve that (DPMstDscDisable from 2 to 0) keeps resetting back to 2.

We would very much like to know what could be causing this and get a solution for this problem. I have scoured the internet but so far have had no luck.

Full system specs:

Lapmargin: 0;">Docking: Dell WD25 USB-C Dock

Monitors: 2x Dell P3421W
