I recently tried to upgrade the firmware in my cdrw drive, however the flash reall screwed it up and is now inoperable, im also trying to re install windows xp on a partition drive, when i try a screen comes up saying it cant detect my dvd rom and says make sure its pluggefd in etc. Im not sure wether i have to replace the jumpers on the back of the dvd rom drive as now the cdrw doesnt work and if i have to do this which place should i put the jumper??
