I have just purchased a second hand Dell Dimension E520 and firstly I would like to state how well made these things are. I'm over the moon with it.

The configuration that I bought has got an Intel Pentium D 2.8GHz Processor in it and the motherboard has a model number of 'E210882' and is a SKT775.

I have looked around the net and there seems to be a few configurations around, including some with Core 2 Duo processors. Will a Core 2 Duo work in mine or are they difference motherboards? Also, what is the maximum amount of Ram the motherboard will take?
