We've just started putting in EMC kit and I'm slightly confused about current offerings from EMC (I previously worked on Clariions a few moons ago). This is only made worse by the fact that the EMC consultants only appear to know one product.

Anyway, I'm interested in how we integrate NetWorker, DataDomain and RecoverPoint. RecoverPoint seems the strongest solution but we have a corporate need for tape (retaining things for upto 30 years). We have need of VMware 5, SQL, Exchange backups.

I've scanned around and see reference to PowerSnap but this seems an old product.

So how do we integrate RecoverPoint with NetWorker - is PowerSnap still supported with RPA 5? If so, what version? Can we achieve the same thing with Replication Manager- if so, how do we integrate with tape?

Any ideas/suggestions welcomed?
