6248 switch management
Hello,
I have a switch 6248 witch has a large configuration I did not create :x the problem is that several vlans were create the vlan for management is missing and I tryed to set vlan 90 has the default.
#ip address vlan 90
Error: Management VLAN could not be set.
This vlan is already in use but I whant to set this has the management vlan to easily control remote access to the switch.

Can you please provide an example on how to "manage the switch on a routed vlan". I'd like to see this in practice or see some documentation about it. I've not had much luck so far.

management vlan cannot be routed, so most likely you have routing enabled on vlan 90. You can manage the switch on a routed vlan though.
Please post your configuration if you have any more questions.
