My brother's Dimension 2400 was connecting to the internet just fine on Thursday night with no problems whatsoever. Come Friday night he went to open MSN and or AOL and the homepage screen would appear and disappear in less than a second. We couldn't even keep the explorer screen up long enough to say that it couldn't find a DNS yada yada as it would come up and close too quickly. We ran Macafee and found only some low level adware labeled "probable unwanted programs" but no viruses. Even Macafee's updater couldn't reach an internet connection which was odd as we could still see the network we have of two other Pc's and a couple Xboxes which "can" reach the internet... Please help.
