Just recently attempted to upgrade the OS on an XPS One 24 from 32 bit Vista to 32 bit Windows 8 Pro.  I could install it, but could never get it to boot.  

So I went back and reloaded Vista Home Premium from my Dell Reinstallation DVD.  It loaded perfectly, but I had no drivers, so I inserted and ran the Dell Drivers and Utilities disk.  Device manager showed a yellow triangle on the Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter (Error Code 10 - this device cannot start).  I uninstalled the driver, restarted the PC and let it install.  It did not install correctly.

Then, using another PC I went to the Dell drivers and downloads page, entered the service tag and looked for drivers.  There are only 2 Broadcom drivers listed under Network - one for Bluetooth and one for wireless.

Can anybody explain any of this?  Why won't the Dell Drivers disk correctly install the drivers, and why can't I find the drivers on the drivers page?
