IDRAC express setup questions for R330

I recently started a new IT position and we have a PowerEdge R330 that is used for video surveillance. I don't have much experience with servers in general and most of my duties are around Data Analysis, SQL and Web development. However, I am a one man department so I get to take on everything. I want to setup IDRAC on this server and I've done plenty of research and reading but I'm a bit confused and I think a lot of the setup directions require a level of understanding that I might not even have. My education was based on networking but I haven't done much with it since. So here goes.

We have a IDRAC 8 express license based on what OSMA is telling me and I know we have the built in IDRAC port already installed on the server. If I want to setup Express I can't use that port correct? Our only data cable is plugged into NIC 1 and my understanding is in IDRAC setup I set NIC 1 to shared and I can use the static IP currently assigned to the server and the one I assign for IDRAC on the same data cable? Or do I need to hook up a cable to the other data port on the server as well? (There are only two)

With that being said. If I share a data cable and I upgrade to enterprise, do I upgrade through the current setup and then once I have the license and activate it I then hook up a cable to the dedicated IDRAC port and change the setup in IDRAC to dedicated instead of shared?

Some help here would be much appreciated!
