Hello!

 

I have a 2002 Inspiron 8200 running XP Home on a 40GB harddrive.

 

This morning I tried bringing the laptop up and after the Dell splashscreen a message is displayed in the upper left corner "disk read error on drive"  "Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart".  After restarting the same message comes up.

 

What's going on?  Suggestions to fix this?
