SA, false NIC failure
Upon completing my Support Assist Hardware Scan last month, I noticed that the Network Card failed - with an error code of D1303. I went to the Dell site to run the Support Assist Diagnostics there - and found out that the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller is the Card that failed. I made sure to update any outstanding drivers on the Dell site and do my windows 10 updates. I ran the diagnostic scan again for hardware on the Dell site and ... and the network card still failed the scan. The information from the Dell site is that the device is fine. Maybe it is a software or configuration problem. I have no problem connecting to the internet.
I ran DISM RestoreHealth, I checked for updates for the driver via Windows updates and I am at a loss as to how to fix this problem.
Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
