I am very very careful with all my hardware and after buying the ever -so - overpriced Dell plastic cover I was very surprised to find that lumps of the red paint finish off the body of the Streak keeps coming away.

It is very unsightly as several of them are on the lower front leading edge and a few on the rear below the camera lens.

Anyone else out there experienced the same proiblem?  Thinking of complaining to Dell as I obviously have a bad one - the unit works fine (with the exception of the DTMF tones sticking on when using access to phones requiring numeric keyboard input).  I did try log on to the Dell support section using my account but guess what? The Streak isn't listed!  How daft is that.....?
