Hi folks:

 

I think my home 'pewter is full of spyware/malware - or so the OS (XP) tells me. What's the best "free" package to rid it of these pests and actively keep them off of my system?

 

I've got firewalls turned-off since I thot my router should protect me. But I think my son was having some fun over the weekend and downloaded some stuff with unknown baggage attached.

 

Also, my OS is warning me about worms anb trojans. I've never seen these types of warnings before and I'm wondering if the warnings themselves are fake - inviting me to install Spyware etc.

 

I've run Ad-Aware and AntiVir  - but keep getting the warnings after rebooting. I guess I need something to do a full scan of my system and get rid of all the pests.
