Hello All,

I understand that the VMAX now (via 5876) can support native D910 devices for iSeries platforms. Meaning it will use the 512-byte block format instead of the legacy iSeries 520-byte format.

I am not an iSeries expert but I believe if they use VIOS that will also support 512-byte.format.

Can somebody please verify?

Also, If the above is true, will FAST VP be supported with VIOS?

     with drive types of SSD, FC and SATA....
