Maybe a can of air blown inside of it might get the dust out now and then. I wouldn't cover it as you need some vents for the heat to rise out of. Maybe open it up and put some kind kind of screen or mesh on the inside to help minimize dust, or buy an air filter for your room :). But if there are no fans inside, you probably won't have as much of a dust build-up like inside of a PC case.

So I wouldn't worry too much about it, it just sounds like a possiblity. The screen has a 3 year warranty too.

I have no problem highly recommending 1905FP, its better to have plenty of ventilation than too little. I got mine 3 days ago in silver and grey + sound bar (well worth getting).
Using it on analog as my Dim.5000 has no DVI (yet).

Timothy true about the heat and all, but my argument for that is, Samsung 173P and 193P based on the same board, is all enclosed, no vents...so it cant be that bad? or can it? lol...i dunno...just that stupid article got me slightly paranoid about the dust and what not, and computers and peripherals attract a LOT of dust. I got tons of compressed air, photography makes me buy tons of them. Thanks for the reply and input though. Chances are ill get the monitor regardless. Rated very high and going from a 15" (14" true) CRT that ive had since '96 back in the early days of internet when it was public...i think it's time to FINALLY spoil myself =)

Hey Rob, they only come in one color(colour for Canadians) don't they? With a sound bar doesn't it? lol...as for the Dim.5000 no idea what you're talking about, im assuming the cable used to run it? I thought it comes with DVI, im also assuming you mean your video card has no DVI output?
Thanks for the reply
