And yeah, btw, why is there to batteries in the computer? one 1220 standard 3v cell, and one battery that looks like one in a cordless phone, text: Varta ni-mh, size aprox. 1inc. by 1½ inc.

Hi,

You may have faulty memory, or motherboard. I would try to reseat the memory first. The battery under the keyboard is the NVram battery, it holds the date and time when the computer is turned off.

Also it holds any changes made in BIOS settings from the Default settings like Boot Order, Power Management, Keyboard Click and Volume, LCD brightness etc. 
Parity is a term associated with RAM. Try another module  or as suggested check the seating. I believe on your model the module is under the keyboard.

Yep, tried reseating memory, no luck. Got to get a hand of another memory from somewhere, then try it.
 
I guessed the small battery was for the time and date, but there is a bigger also, next to the memory, size about 2,5cm by 5cm, dont know what its for.
