Can someone from Dell confirm roadmap for inspirons, i.e. when will i9300 go on sale???

I just took delivery of my i9200 wednesday and think I want to return it pending the announcement of the i9300 and intel's sonoma/alviso release but obviously just have the 21 day return window.  Trying to find out if the i9300 will be available for ordering before my return period is up.  If not I'll just be happy with what I have.

the supposed release date for sonoma from intel is 1/21. i think i read that at inquirer.net

there are no stated release dates, nor are their ever pre-release announcements. it would hurt sales of current models.

if you want the 533mhz bus and pci-e of SONOMA, i would just send the 9200 back.

I believe the 19th is the day of sonoma. Look for new inspirons (9300 & 6000) to be for sale on the 19th or possibly the 20th.

Yeah smackie, heard the same thing. Just sent back the 9200 though it's still an excellent machine.
