1702FP LCD blinking LEDs

Question

I have an 1702FP LCD flat panel. When the monitor is plugged in the input selector LEDs alternate blinking green, and the power LED blinks orange in sync with the Input 2 LED. There is no response to any button, and no response to video signal. The power brick is putting out nominal voltage (no load, 14.9v, correct polarity). This monitor is out of warranty, but hasn't been subjected to any harsh treatment, and has been kept on a line isolator/filter. Is this repairable? Seems a shame. James Wilson Dallas, TX

jswilson64, Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum. The system may be in power save mode. Try pushing the power button in on the cpu when the led on the monitor starts flashing.
