Can't switch from DVI video signal to Analog video.

Question

I'm working with an Optiplex GX270, latest bios A06 and can't seem to switch from digital AVI card to the onboard analog port.  I have the bios set to auto detect but can't seem to detect the analog signal.  I have the latest NVidia GEForce MX 440 with AGP8X Video Bios version 4.18.20.21.B8 driver and the latest monitor driver for the 1703FPs monitor.  I tried hitting the Auto Adjust and the middle button on the monitor and the signal won't switch over to analog and we need to use this to hook up to a projector.  We can switch back fine to the DVI signal.  Any suggestions?

I had the identical problem which I fixed last night by flashing the BIOS. If the motherboard BIOS isn't flashed to the latest (A06 as of this posting) try flashing it. It worked for me. My BIOS was the A02. Please post results.
What got my attention was "5. Fixed intermittent hang in resuming from Standby." since I guessed failure to detect which video card to use was related. I verified by removing and reinserting the AGP card multiple times.

I just plugged in another pci video card with analog port on the back and it worked.  The onboard video still doesn't work.
