I have 2 new identical monitors 1 digital setup and 1 analog setup. I switched my digital monitor to analog setup hoping to get identical pictures. System ran slower and hung up it seemed. Went back to digital, installed the drivers that came with the monitors. Saw no change. Someone on this board gave me this link - found it to be very helpful. If I remember right I believe I read that I can change the digital contrast setting thro the control panel. Haven't tried it yet.

M_Tirio:
yes, you can use control panel in Windows to change contrast.
But if you are using spanning, then you can't change the contrast independently to each monitors.
That is why I would like to use the on-monitor contrast adjustment.
