Are any of the security features enabled on your router, like hiding SSID, MAC address filtering, WEP/WPA enryption? If so, either make sure the wireless card and router both conform to the same settings or disable the security features on the router as a troubleshooting step until you are sure you can make a connection.
Let's get back to the basics. Does the wireless card show up in Device Manger with no problems listed? If you open network connections, right click on the wireless network connection and choose "View available wireless networks", does your network show up in the list?

Are you sure there is a wireless signal with range? Do you have your own wireless router or wireless access point installed?

Have you tried enabling/disabling the radio by hitting the Fn F2 key combination?

Hi,
The wireless card shows up in the device manager, and it cannot find my network.
Thanks
