Inspiron 2600 - Disable Sound and Network in Bios?

Question

How can I disable the sound and network in the BIOS of this machine.   I have a client that wants to install Windows XP but it hangs when installing XP at around 35%   I found a post stating this is an issue with the internal sound and network, and to just disable them in the BIOS of the machine but I see no way to do that on the 2600.

philbo33, Thank you for using Dell's Community Forum. There is not a way to disable the sound and NIC in the BIOS of this computer.
