Inside the printer output tray (under the scanner), there should be a blue slide switch on the underside of the scanner housing.. This is the scanner unlock switch.
I couldn't print out on my Dell 1600 multifunction printer because unlock scanner. I switched the blue slide switch inside the printer output tray but I was unsuccessful.
May be another way to solve this problem. Please Help me.

The previous instructions are accurate. The blue button is on the underside of the section where the printed papers would emerge.
If you still have not figured this out, please follow the previous instructions in the previous response to this topic.
I also unplugged and replugged my printer; I don't know if this did any good, but it wouldn't hurt.
