That is what I thought I did. There was no lower version than the A22, that said create a bootable CD to change to the Dell BIOS first. Well I did and now I killed my notebok.
I did not get any CD from Dell directly. I have donloaded the file from the Dell support page. CD image file. I have crated a bootable CD as advised to change from the Phoenix Bios to Dell Bios. There was no warning. And the Bios Version A22 was the lowest Bios Version on that page.

you have to flash them in order. With the 5100 and 5150, you can't jump to the most current BIOS version.
The reason for this is that Dell changed the BIOS from a Pheonix BIOS to a Dell BIOS and they are not compatible or something.
