lenoxacoolgamer,

The procedure here corrects that problem in most cases.

You just gave me a link to try but it has to use the recovery console.

1)I do not know ho w to access that
2)Let me explain the problem in more detail. I click to log on, put in my password, press enter, then logs on for a second and then automatically logs off. Nothing pops up or anything like that. it just returns me to the log on screen.
3)I have adware but I haven't used it in like a month

I'm not sure if I understand exactly what is happening on your pc but I would like to ask if your NUM Lock light is on when you insert your password?

If it is NOT on then try turning it on and then inserting your password. See if that makes a difference. If it does then there is a way to change the value in the registry to 2 from zero to make the NUM Lock light come on whenever the system is booted. Without the num Lock light on - if you are entering any numeric password into the numbers keypad- you will not be able to log on.

Note: doing any adjustment to the system's regisrty is risky but sometimes adjustments need to be made. Backup the registry before performing any changes and if you don't feel confident doing registry edits, as suggested in Denny's earlier reply - find someone who has experience to do it for you- otherwise there is risk of systerm meltdown on occasion.
