Inspiron 5100 shutting down, for some unknown reason.......Please Help

I have an Inspirion 5100 purchased in December 2003.    Here is what happened to me.     in the beginning my computer was just getting really hot. then it started to turn itself off.  so i went to the Dell website and looked up how to fix these problems it told me that i could take out my cooling processor and clean it and so i did that and my computer worked fine for about 2 or 3 days then it started to give me error messages about memory (memory error low or memory decreasing)  so i made my 1st call to Dell   During my first call the girl told me to take my memory out and move it from here to there through a bunch of different combinations. I did this, nothing worked.  but when i turned on my computer the i could only get on the BIOS which showed i only had 8 MB    the next day i checked again i had 256 but my computer was frozen.  so i made my 2nd call to Dell   During my second call the man told me i needed to buy new memory that my memory had gone bad.  So i went and got this PNY memory from best buy and then put one new in with one old and my computer again let me into BIOS and finally showed 300+ MB but was still frozen and would not start. giving error message so i made a 3rd call to Dell   During my third call the girl told me to take all parts out one by one and we removed almost every part and then proceeded to put them back into the computer when we had finished my computer did nothing no BIOS nothing sooo, went blank, I can see green ligh comes on on the front but thats all. But one time it started something, little light near cap lock came on and it was kinda starting but then got frozen and thats all. It's been dead since then.   Someone told me Dell has reset combination on every system. Does anyone knows about it. Or any help? Dell is asking me to pay 200s + buck to send the system in just to figure out the problem And after that more charges. I do need help.  Don't have 1400 more bucks to spend on dell Is there any help? Anyone who can tell me any diagnostic or anything I can do!!! I live in Tampa.

Awwsone,   Most like its a air flow issue, I have also one of this a happen to me, what i did is get compress air and clear all the air vents, including then fan in the bottom.

I did, clean the air flow but, now computer, doesn't even turn on!!! Does anyone know how to reset CMOS in inprison 5100? Would that be a help?
