Drivers for Intel 2915

Question

If you have slow/dropped connection problems with your Intel 2915, see this post and the thread it is in about downloading a new driver.   Note there is a one week time limit for the download. It is noted in the post.

The 9.0.1.21 version drivers may be marginally better than the 9.0.1.9 drivers, but they do not solve the transmit power problem nor the connection speed degradation.

'resolved' might be pushing it -- my speed is much more constant although it still changes a lot more than my d-link pc-card does.  it rarely drops out completely for me anymore though, which is nice

I'm going to try reloading the new drivers. Some people on dslreports.com noted having to reload them several times before they worked properly -- but that when they worked, the speed issue was resolved. Message Edited by Jerry Park on 05-29-2005 03:12 PM
