This is a common fault that has been appearing in powerbricks for some time now...(you'd have thought DELL would have rectified the manufacturing prob by now)
Click on the PRODUCT SUPPORT button under the DELL logo on this page and follow the instructions.
Thanks for the reply. I was wondering whether the problem was in the brick or the cord. If I tug the cord (the one that connects to the outlet) at the brick end to the left, the green light on the brick would ocome on. At any rate, i think i will get a replacement unit from Dell. Just gonna inconvinient when i cant charge my laptop for 2 weeks.
Its the cord...usually fails at the point where the plug that connects to 'puter joins the flex to powerbrick...of course being a moulded on plug...its fun repairing it if out of warranty!
