letter keys not working on my Inspiron 8100

Question

Several weeks ago, the r and t keys would sometimes not work and shut down/restart would reslove it. Now  keys r, t, v and b do not work, at all. I have restarted my computer and F2 to set up per instructions, but F8 (per instructions) doesn't work. And, if I need to open up the computer  to check connections, I need to know how.   Thank you, Lynne.
