Battery Compatibility (OK to replace Type 75UYF with Type 66Whr?)

Hello Folks,   Here's the short story, my Inspiron 4000 originally shipped with a battery that was replaced with a Type 75UYF by Dell under warranty and it worked fine for a couple  years.  That battery has since bit the dust and I have obtained a brand new one to replace it on my own.  The new one (which I haven't tried out yet) is slightly different.  It seems to have alll the same physical dimensions, but it is a Type 66Whr (as oppsed to the aforementioned 75UYF).   The orignial battery is a 14.8V 3800mAh unit. The new battery is a 14.8V 4460mAh unit.   Can I use this new battery in my older machine? Yes and as a bonus you will get about a 15% increase in battery time with the new one.
