DOS BOOT floppy disk with the BIOS .exe file on it. NO need to ever go to the HDD for a BIOS update so the OS installed on the HDD doesn't matter.

Ed! Thanks... hum... I have no floppy on this PC... I will need to check for one.

- what link can I find the proper BIOS on for this PC?

Hi,

Your machine would have come with a floppy that runs from a cable to the IDE port, same as a CD. You wont be able to boot from a USB drive. The floppy drive is a " C " series drive, and the cable is a 10NRN if that helps. If you have a CD drive, you can make a bootable CD and update the Bios with it.

A C-series Floppy will also work with a Parallel Port Cable for the Floppy only
