Is spdif out enabled on inspiron 5150?

I am going to purchase a new dell laptop and was hoping someone could tell me if spdif output is enabled on an inspiron 5150 and if it is not which dell new laptops support it? I currently have an inspiron 8200 and the spdif out works great through the svideo port using a dell adapter 044ctv

There's no SPDIF port on the 5150. (At least not on mine.)

niallohard, The s-video port on the Inspiron 5150 is not for SPIDIF.

On my inspiron 8200 if i plug a dell adapter part number 044ctv into the svideo port i get s-video out, composite video out and spdif out. Picture here: http://www.netecnica.com/dell_inspiron_s_video_cable.html

niallohara, You should be able to use a docking station to get SPDIF support.
