There's no SPDIF port on the 5150. (At least not on mine.)

Thanks for the info DELL-Corey
On my inspiron 8200 if i plug a dell adapter part number 044ctv into the svideo port i get s-video out, composite video out and spdif out. Picture here: http://www.netecnica.com/dell_inspiron_s_video_cable.html
Do any dell laptops currently available support such features and which dell laptops have spdif out functionallity?
Thanks,
Niall

You should be able to use a docking station to get SPDIF support.
