Put the service tag of the Dell computer into to access your support acct. If you don't have one, use your customer number from the invoice when you email or call. Your Dell support acct will have a record of all your purchases.

Unfortunately the "Service Tag" field in the online chat only accepts 7 characters.

Since I wrote this message, I was able to get it to do 1280x1024 when plugged into the VGA port. However it still will not go above 1024x768 when using DVI. :/

I guess there's no way to get support other than calling?

I am in the EXACT same situation...Got a plasma running whatever resolution I want off of the VGA port of NVidia GForce 6800, but I'll be da**ed if I can get above 1024x768 on the DVI aka 1905fp port (goes black).

Please tell me you figured this out.

And to add one bit, when I do try and bump the resolution up to 1280 it locks up the monitor's buttons (won't power off / change input).
