The necessary drivers are already included in XP sp2!

My gut feeling is that you did not install the Intel chipset driver or/and the Dell Notebook System Software program.

ahhh..i was afraid of that. NO i installed the chipset drivers properly. My friend has the same exact computer with same exact OS/Progs/and Drivers except he installed SP2.

I knew SP2 had the drivers but i HATE SP2(why?...dont get me started on this) Is there any other way of gettin the driver? I could possibly try gettin the drivers alone from my friends i6000, but is that goin to be stable?
