Remove the battery. If the system will start, you may have found the problem.
If it won't, reseat the CPU, make sure the lockdown screw is in place, and check the memory. If it still won't run, hopefully the replacement board has a warranty.
How do you know if the AC adaptor is good? If it puts out 19v it doesn't mean it's good. That is a 3 function adaptor. The center pin function may not be working.
Whats the 3rd pin do? The thing comes on for like 3 seconds. The fan, hardrive and dvd all start to turn then it turns off. So my hold down screw has to be tight right? Well i'm taking it to the service center on campus. What a waste of money.
