Sounds very much like there is a problem with your video card!

You can test this out by attaching your laptop to an external monitor. If the same behaviour occurs then your video card is at fault.

I opened my laptop today and i saw nothing visibly wrong with the internal parts. I also noticed tonight that whenever i depress the centre of the keyboard to make the heat sync on the radeon 9000 touch the heat dispenser( metal underneath the keypad), my screen becomes clear. When i let go off the keypad after depressing it, it gets fuzzy.

Any solutions?
