Another possibility would be to download and run the
Modem Identification Wizard from the USR website. After identifying the modem you can also download the drivers from there. You will most likely find the correct drivers on the
OEM page.
Ah... what? That's how I got the part no. (subject line). Fuller info below, is from a query of mine of a few months ago.
"I have a Dell dimension, serial (?) 6GGUQ, serv no 108-460-34 purchased about Sept 1999 with an installed USR 56K voice (internal) winmodem. Physically on the modem board are the numbers 12651-99M-8NO2 (could be 02, but there no line through the 0). DP/N is 0002513E Rev A00. Model is either O637 or C637 (looks like 0637, but no line through the 0, and I suspect it's C637.) On the USR website, I couldn't identify this model to download installation software.
