Are you sure the fan really needs to be replaced?     I recently acquired a CPx-J laptop and noted that the cooling fan is not working.   In error, I presumed the fan to be defective and explored its replacement, but through this discussion group, and the service manual downloaded off Dell, I have learned that this fan is "thermal", operating only when it needs to operated during an overheat situation, as a power saving option.
