monitor screen goes blank (White)

Question

I have a 15' Dell flat screen monitor that has a problem blanking out.  The screen goes totally white for some undetermined amount of time.  It will usually return to normal viewing after a few minutes, only to blank out again.  The problem started about 3 months ago, and would happen very infrequently (once every few days).  Now the problem occurs every 10-20 minutes and stays out for 2-5 minutes.  The monitor is about 18 months old.  Needless to say, I'm very disapointed with this Dell monitor.    Has anyone else had similar problems with their flat screen monitors?   John

I have the E151FPb.  I got on a chat room session with your tech support and they offered to replace the monitor even though it was out of warrantee.  I'm glad to see that Dell stands behind it's products.
