Have you called Dell regarding this issue? May I have your service tag?
You may check the other threads. Some suggest downloading an updated driver.
Im currently looking into this matter myself.

Thanks,
Marl

Have you called Dell Tech Support regarding this?

Mind if I ask for the specs of your system and the service tag?

I have the exact same problem. It mostly happens when I exit Unreal Tournament 2004, but Half Life 2, CounterStrike: Source and most other games run fine. I thought it was an overheating problem so I bought an Antec laptop cooler which sits under the laptop. The laptop is running cooler, but the problem with UT2004 still exists. I'm sure it's something to do with the graphics driver.

Guys, if you encounter a BSOD (stop:0x0A IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) while playing a game in a I9300, try updating the driver from this website www.laptopvideo2go.com. Download the 72.01 driver since the one the we have on the website ( support.dell.com ) is only 66.77. This sure works.

The I9300 should have a 256mb GeForce 6800 Video Adapter for this situation to be applicable.

Wow, it works!

Glad to know it was of help. BTW, If you don't mind I would submit your service tag together with others so that Dell will finally update the driver on their website. It has worked for other systems and I'm so glad it worked on yours as well. Regards.

hi, thanks for that info. It seems that you have not called to Dell for this issue right? Nor emailed them about it? The thing is that I hope you could submit an email regarding this so that Dell could have a documentation on their end that this resolved your problem. It is of improtance that a case of this be logged under your tag so that I would have enough proof of this... i hope im not asking too much. anyway, have a nice day.

Done!

I'm just happy that I can finally use my machine without problems.

What you mean done? you mean you submitted an email to Dell about this? Ü

BTW, it seems the tag you gave 3NK9P1J may be incorrect. from what I know, tags dont end with letters... mind doublechecking it?

Thanks.!!!

Yes, I submitted an email. My tag is correct, but any trouble you have might be because I'm actually an EU customer.

Although I have a Dimension XPS system I have the exact same problem (2 days old).  I'll be updating my drivers tonight.  I will also make sure to make a formal report about it to Dell.  .....I have to let them know about the scuff marks I have on my case anyhow (from the factory).   ....thanks for the info.

I'm at work right now and don't have access to that information.  If I'm able (and I remember) I will post it later.  I still have to try out the drivers to see if it fixes my problem.  Needless to say, I'm a bit disappointed that I would even have to deal with these types of issues on a new "high end" system.  I'm running into the problem on recent, high profile game titles (i.e. Swat 4, Bother's in Arms, Battlefield 2 Demo, etc.).  .....it's not as if I'm installing old software.  I will try to get back to you if I get time.

Thanks Again,
Kean
