so this means that my pc will be able to take a new graphics card i just need to disable the intergrated one i cant use both can i  ????

Hi, here some info my help you
 
PCI video cards for the following systems:
Dimension V, L, 2100, 2200, 2300, 2350, 2400, 3000

* Note, use www.pricewatch.com and www.newegg.com to check on video card prices

GeForce FX 5600
GeForce FX 5500
GeForce FX 5700LE

DIMENSION 3000, 2400
* Click Start- Control Panel- System
* Click the Hardware tab and the Device Manager button
* Open Display Adapters
* Double-click the Intel listing
* Under Device Usage, change this to "Do not use this device (disable)"
* Click OK- Apply and/or OK
* Close all boxes
* Click Start- Shutdown- Restart- OK or Click Start- Turn Off Computer- Restart
* Press F2 at the blue Dell logo screen
* Down arrow to (Integrated Devices) Primary Video and change this to PCI or AUTO (whatever is listed)
* Press ESC several times to Exit and Save your changes
* Power the system off
* Connect the monitor to the added PCI video card
* Open the case cover and add the PCI video card
* Power on your computer
* Let the computer boot up and load the drivers off of the CD provided with the card

DIMENSION 2300, 2350
* Click Start- Control Panel- System
* Click the Hardware tab and the Device Manager button
* Open Display Adapters
* Double-click the Intel listing
* Under Device Usage, change this to "Do not use this device (disable)"
* Click OK- Apply and/or OK
* Close all boxes
* Click Start- Shutdown- Restart- OK or Click Start- Turn Off Computer- Restart
* Restart the system
* Press F2 at the blue Dell logo screen
* Right arrow to Advanced
* Down arrow to Peripheral Configuration- Video Adapter and change this to PCI or AUTO
* Press F10 to Save and Exit keeping your changes
* Power the system off
* Open the case cover and add the PCI video card
* Connect the monitor to the added PCI video card
* Power on your computer
* Let the computer boot up and load the drivers off of the CD provided with the card

DIMENSION 2200
* Restart the system
* Press F2 at the blue Dell logo screen
* Scroll down to Integrated Devices- Primary Video Controller and change this to PCI or AUTO
* Press ESC to exit
* Again, press ESC to exit
* Choose Yes to save your changes
* As the system starts to restart, power the system off
* Open the case cover and add the PCI video card
* Connect the monitor to the added PCI video card
* Power on your computer
* Let the computer boot up and load the drivers off of the CD provided with the card

* Press Del at the blue Dell logo screen
* Right arrow to Advanced
* Scroll down to Video Configuration- Video Adapter and change this to PCI or AUTO
* Press F10 to Save and Exit keeping your changes
* As the system starts to restart, power the system off
* Open the case cover and add the PCI video card
* Connect the monitor to the added PCI video card
* Power on your computer
* Let the computer boot up and load the drivers off of the CD provided with the card

Just put my 5700le in my dim3000 and i like it, i can play aoe3 demo on low/med settings without lag and battlefield 1492 demo on high with no lag. I got a 2088 on 3dmark03.

if you can find a pci fx5600 get it, its the best pci graphics card, I would say 5700le is the second best.

Also, the GeForce FX 5200 PCI card is a good "low-cost" choice.

Yes, you do need to disable the Intel integrated graphics if you are going to use a PCI graphics card.

i know which one i want i am just making sure that my pc will run it ect cause with all this intergrated stuff i didnt want to spend like 200 pound when it wouldnt work ??????? so i take it, it  will work aslong as i disable my old integrated one ?

Hi I bought a FX 5700LE few days ago, still trying to install it.......it souposed to be the best in PCI supported cards n the market
