Well, I have had the same experience (when I've ordered, its come nearly a week early both times, and I'm in AUS.), so hopefully it is the case with your new one as well.... and I'm looking forward to your feedback on game and benchmark performance with that new M10 in there.
I ordered mine on the 4th and Purolator said it will be delivered at my house on the 15th. The estimated shipping date on the Dell e-mail was Dec 26. I guess they are running a little early :)
Just out of curiosity what is everyone doing with their old Inspiron laptops (I noticed a number of us are current Inspiron owners buying an I8600)? I was going to either sell it to a friend/relative or perhaps toss it up on EBAY.
Hey, I canceled the order I placed yesterday, and placed another one today to save more money. Then I called and placed another one today in order to save even more money. The new order is scheduled to ship before the orders I placed yesterday and earlier today. It has an estimated ship date of Dec. 23 and an estimated arrival date of Dec. 26-30. I only voiced the last order, btw.

Good job Taz, thats an absolute powerhouse now! Keep us informed with some benchmark scores and game performances once you get your hands on that bad boy.
According to the "order status" page my I8600 system is already in "boxing". This seems a little weird since I placed my "final" order yesterday, so I am not sure if the "order status" page is 100% accurate. In any event I believe things are looking very good for delivery before the end of the year. . . .
My system is currently in boxing today. It could have probably been in boxing on Friday, but Dell sent me an email requesting that I call them so that they could verbally read me the terms of their loan to me. This is kind of inefficient on their part because I was approved for the loan on the date that I placed the final order, on Thursday. They should have read me the terms right there and then, so that I would have saved a day off of the shipping. Instead, I got an email later that Thursday and had to call back on Friday because they had already left when I read the email.

I placed my order online, but I applied for the credit via the phone. They had to cancel my order and place it again, in order for me to use their loan. The good thing about it, though, was that they kept all of my coupon, my rebate, and the free stuff. They also gave me an extra 3% off for using their loan.
