As the system is with in one month i think they sould be replacing it, however if you have damaged it then i am sure they will not, you have to purchase it. however the best way is to contact Dell and check what would be the best option.
Its a little tricky to push the keys back onto laptop keyboards but it can be usually done.... unless you wrecked the metal piece underneath. If you push the metal piece down does the key still work??
I've been waiting 3 weeks for a keyboard replacement, I don't imagine warantee would be much faster. A whole new keyboard is about 20 bucks on ebay normally. But if you can afford to wait weeks, if the key works, you might as well wait for warantee. *Although keys don't usually pop themselves off*
