D-610 swapping out the 2200BG intel for a 2915 ABG card

Question

Hello Everybody, Any one try swapping out the 2200BG card for a 2915ABG card? Would the antenna still work? the A radio is 5 GHZ verses 2.4 GHZ for the BG.   How can one tell if the antenna would support the newer card?   Also anybody got a 2915 ABG working reliably in a CISCO LEAP env?   Thanks for your time.

Shouldn't be a problem, there is no specific chassy part# for system shipped with intel 2915. I will soon try this myself because I ordered my d610 w/o a wireless. Cheers, Danny
