Basically, if you've damaged the pin on the mainboard, you'll need to replace the mainboard - unless you can find a surface mount rework shop that can replace just the connector.

Ignore this message. I was being a total idiot and didn't even THINK to check to make sure that the plug on the adapter box was snuggly plugged in.
