It would appear that "Community Forum" means Dell tech support does not read/post here, so if no other Dell USER knows the answere... there IS no answer, which means I must call Dell to see if anyone there knows if their toner FORCES a change after some pre-determined print count, or if the toner actually is used up before I must change the cartridge

or did u get someone from dell that just burped out an answer w/o really knowing anything?

I followed about a Zillion links on Dell's site, and finally found a place to send a Question... but it has been over a week and no answer

It looks like I stay with my current BW laser for now
