My projector is doing the same thing (although I have had it two years) and was wondering if you had any luck with tech support on resolution. Don't know if a pattern but it also seems to starting happening when my kids have been plugging the xbox into it.
I have already looked at all the online Dell troubleshooting and it is pretty weak. This forums appears to be the best troubleshooting available out there.
yeah i got a great response with tech service. They simply sent me a new one. even next day air.
I have mine hooked up to the xbox all the time so i am not so sure you can blame that. it seemed mine messed up when i connected it to the vcr and watched tv thru it.
Wish I had that option but unfortunately warranty expired. As much as I paid for this brand new, you would think Dell would let me turn in for at least a refurbished one. Will grit my teeth and call tech support......
I have had great success with dvd, tv (via vcr/svideo), and xbox all connected to my projector in the home theatre room for over two years.
Not sure if this means anything but noticed that it seems to stay powered on if I do not use the remote to power on.????
