Hi, the Card reader does not need any drivers, and only supported by 2000 & XP. Try plugging the usb cable into another pc with 1 of those OS's. If the usb works and the card reader does not show up in my computer then it is faulty I'm afraid.I took delivery of my 2405fpw a few days ago and the reader did not show up in my computer, got  a replacement today and all works fine

I have no Card reader, I just connected the monitor's hub with the supplied cable to my computer running Windows 2000. In the device manager I see 'USB device' with the exclamation mark. The OS was unable to find driver for the device. It is useless to say, that any connected USB device to the monitor is not working because of this. Is this normal?

sounds like your pc is having a little hiccup, I suggest you remove it from device manager and the root hub and reboot. without it connected, then plug cable in and keep your fingers crossed.

I'm having the same problem with the USB hub in the 2005fwp on a Win 2k system. It will identify a USB Device but fail to install a driver for it. I have tried the plugging/unplugging/rebooting routine ad naseum, and have tried it on both USB1.1 and USB 2 controllers. I even tried to force instalation of a generic usb hub driver, and that blue screened my system.

O.k., I have now tried this on 2 different systems, XP and W2k, and threee different USB controllers, 1.1 and 2. Same result in all cases: unrecognized USB device. It looks pretty clear that the USB hub built into the screen is defective.

Just got a replacement, and the USB hub works properly the first time. Looks like the first monitor definitely had a defective USB hub.
