"Monitor" is referring to an external display, download and install the one that suites your external monitor.

Following Windows reinstall, the first Dell Drivers to install should be Chipset Drivers and then
Notebook Software, prior to Video Driver. This helps allow proper install and operation for the
other drivers, (touchpad drivers, modem drivers, other Communication Drivers, QuickSet etc. depending
on your system).

Should be in BIOS Setup (tap F2 on first bootup screen).
In Windows, Display Adapter (not monitor) will be in Hardware, Device Manager.
Monitors are for external use only, Video Driver is what you need for laptop screen.
